Congratulations to Stampede athlete Gabriel Garcia for his selection to attend The US WRA tryouts in February 2022.

Garcia who serves as a player coach on the Stampede was in a word “humbled” to be considered for a spot. This was the first time Garcia has been recognized for his efforts on the court. 

“Gabe has always been a great leader and steady and consistent player on the court. He is always in the right place and catches everything that is thrown to him”. Same coach and general manager James Gumbert. “We can’t wait to see what he does with this. We are all very proud of him”.

The 16 person team will be picked and be competing in the summer of 2022 in the World Games in Birmingham Alabama.
