The Texas Stampede in cooperation with the University of Texas held a adaptive sport expo on Thursday, October 20 at the Clark courts on UT campus.

“The Texas Stampede was happy to have a strong contingent at UT Austin‘s adapted sports night. Over 30 undergrads had a chance to get a feel for the sport of wheelchair rugby. It was by far the most popular sport of the evening. There were several competitive games of two on two. I have no doubt, they will all be pretty sore in 2 days time”, said Daniel Curtis stampede athlete.

“The ongoing mission of the Stampede and the Stampede foundation continues to be to change lives on and off the court. Moments like these touch people in ways that cannot be measured” James Gumbert executive Director of the foundation said. “We are grateful for this opportunity to work with the University and help to showcase wheelchair rugby” he would go on to say.
