The Texas Stampede returns to action this weekend in Houston against in-state rival the Houston Texans. The Texans are hosting the first Texas cup of the season and it will serve as a warm-up tournament to next weeks international Texas Hold’em Invitational.
“Going into the weekend at the Houston Texas cup will be a good chance for the Stampede to continue the work and learn together as a group. It will be an exciting weekend to work alongside our new international player Sebastian Verdin from France” said Gabriel Garcia.
The Stampede will be playing without Tokyo Paralympics silver medalist Ray Hennagir who sustained an injury at the WWAR tournament two weeks ago. His absence will put a increased workload on Verdin at his initial event.
