Texas joins drive to collect used sneakers

The Stampede are pleased to announce their support of the USA low point team Fundraising Drive. The goal is to collect sneakers to be re-purposed and recycled.
Executive Director for the Texas Stampede foundation James Gumbert said “ We are thrilled to be able to help find ways to support our athletes and help them off set cost to play on a national team”.
The ongoing campaign will begin immediately and provide opportunities for both athletes, families, friends, and fans to support the team.

Hello,

Did you know you can generate tens of thousands of dollars a year simply by collecting and recycling used sneakers? That’s an eye-opener isn’t it? The mission of ProjectKix™️ is to financially support 100,000 disabled athletes in under five years through the repurposing of new or gently used sneakers.

ProjectKix™️ is more than just raising money. It's also about:

● A Green Initiative Project reducing our carbon footprint while creating a better world for

our future.

● Creating jobs in the USA and abroad.

● Providing affordable footwear to men, women and children where it is not otherwise

available.

To achieve its fundraising goals, the United States Low Point Rugby Team has teamed up with ProjectKix™️ in support of this mission.

The United States Low Point Rugby Teams’ coaches and athletes would like to invite you to join in their fundraising efforts by running a Sneaker Drive. Every pair of usable sneakers you collect will provide the team and its athletes with the resources needed to compete, including wheelchairs, travel, lodging, equipment, and tournament fees, and most of all, the ability for families to travel and support the people they love.

Steps for a Sneaker Drive

1. Let’s pick a date, contact info@projectkix.com and we will help!

2. We provide the marketing materials including flyers, email and social copy.

3. We provide you with collection bags.

4. Bags are handed out during the sneaker drive asking for them to be returned to your

location by the end of your drive.

5. We will arrange all the shipping back to us.

6. We collaborate on social media and help bring awareness to your drive.

Please keep in mind when preparing to do your collection, we can only accept new and gently used sneakers for this program. Dry sneakers only please, no singles or mismatched pairs.

We look forward to working with you! The Project Kix Team
