The Stampede open the season this weekend (October 26, 2014) against instate rival, the Houston Texans. This will be the first opportunity to see the team since their 8th place finish at the 2014 National Championship.  "We are coming off a big camp this past weekend and looking to build on it" said coach James Gumbert. "The team has a number of new faces along with some returning veterans that are eager to improve upon last years finish".
