The Texas duo of Chris Bond and Jeff Butler received individual honors over the weekend at the Lakeshore Demolition Derby. Both were selected by teams and refs attending. Said MVP Bond “As a ball carrier, having a good team around me gives me a bit more time to make decisions and execute them”. “We all put in a lot of effort this weekend and were rewarded”. Further, best in class low pointer Jeff Butler said, “I’m honored to win this individual award, but more importantly we had a great weekend as a team and came out on top”.
The Stampede who went 7-0 on the weekend and came away with top honors, used the competition as an opportunity to continue their push towards the 2015 National Championships.
