Duo claim best in Division 1 class awards

The Texas Stampede ended the 2015 National Championships this weekend finishing in third place.  Along with the third place showing, Stampede athletes Jeff Butler and Chris Bond received all tournament honors in the division 1 class.  Said Butler on the weekend "receiving the individual award is an honor, but the team finish is more important. Even though we didn't bring home the championship, each of us grew and developed as players".Bond who now returns home to Australia reflected on the award "After falling short in the cross over and finishing third, the individual award gave some light at the end of the tunnel".

The duo combined for numerous mvp and best in class awards this season and both led the Stampede in court time respectfully. "It was a great season and it is great to see both Jeff and Chris get this deserved honor", said coach James Gumbert.
