The Stampede welcome Jared Compton to the team. Jared an engineer, was turned on to rugby by Nathen Whitten at a recent kids camp.  "I have been wanting to get back into sports" said Compton, "working full time and finding time to play has been an issue, but the Stampede have welcomed me and understand my schedule".
 
Jared joined the Stampede for the recent Metal and Muscle where he was classed as a 3.5.  "Jared is a unique blend of size and function" said coach James Gumbert. "We look forward to his help on the court".
