Stampede looking for national championship birth

The Texas Stampede begin postseason play today in the Mountain section of the USQRA. The Stampede coming off a recent first-place finish at the rise invitational, look to improve on last year's third place section finish.

The Stampede led behind .5 and USAWR  team member Jeff Butler have had a up and down season. "we have playing well at times" said Coach James Gumbert,  "we just need to be consistent in postseason and play the best ball we have so far".

The stampede who are sponsored in part by C and R Medical look to advance to the national championship for the 17th year. "We have had a lot of success in postseason" said Gumbert. "We have only missed one championship and strive to be able to be in the top 10 again this year".
