The Texas Stampede will carry a #1 seed into next weeks USQRA National Championships. The announcement by the commissioner and the competition committee has put the Stampede on a pathway to compete for the National title. “We are very excited about the seed and chance to win a title” said coach James Gumbert. “We also know there is a lot of teams that want to win as well, and that they will be bringing their best effort to lay their own claim on the title”.
The Stampede have a rich history in the Championships. In their 18 years of competition the team has qualified 17 times. They have won 3 Division 1 titles and 1 Division 2 title. “We strive to be the best every time we take the court” said Gumbert. “Each team has left a mark on the sport and the members of our team who play it”. “It will be exciting to see what this years team is able to do”.
