Texas impresses with hard work and passion

On a seasoned that showed so much promise the Stampede came home with a fourth place finish At the USQRA's national championships. The team finished two and three overall on the weekend but their success was overcoming every obstacle put before them and just getting to the championships. "we faced so much this year" said coach James Gumbert. "It Felt like every time we would take a push forward we would have some type of setback, and to see the team pull together on the big stage was a credit to everyone"

The team took home quality wins against Atlanta based shepherd, and Seattle-based slam. Both teams were seated higher than the stampede who entered the weekend at a 7th seed. "We were not supposed to be in division one in so many peoples minds, for us to finish fourth is nothing short of hard team work and trust, overcoming what's thrown at you" said Gumbert.

A season like this is special because of the people and support that surround it. A special thank you must go to C and R MEDICAL whose continued support and sponsorship of the Stampede is so appreciated.
