Walk in my Wheels V benefiting the Stampede was recently held at the PAC in Leander Texas. Event organizer and Stampede athlete Gabriel Garcia said "A great weekend was had by all. A huge thank you goes to CWS for hosting the fifth year! An incredible organization with Incredible people. The Stampede is excited for new fundraising opportunities as we have been approached by a large, local Corporation to hold their own event to help raise money for the team"

The annual benefit puts people not eligible to play the sport in chairs and let's them experience the sport first hand. "It's a great way for families, friends, coworkers to come give the game a go" said coach James Gumbert. This year's event brought in an estimated $2400.
