Stampede athlete Alejandro Pabon received best in class 3.0 at this years National Championship. It was the first individual award presented to Pabon this year. Pabon said "This award is very humbling as a pretty new player in the league, but I couldn't have done it without the help and guidance of my coaching staff and my amazing teammates, who have accepted me into their family and taught me everything I know. Also, thanks to the staff that helps us keep rolling, changing tire after tire after tire. Last but not least, to my family and girlfriend, who sacrifice a great amount of time spent with me for me to go and play a game that I've learned to love. Thanks to everyone who was a part of this, in my mind this award belongs to the Texas Stampede as a whole, not just me.
Pabon continues his rugby journey as he joins his Team USAWR athletes this week as they compete in the Tri Nations Tournament in Birmingham Alabama.
