Five members of the Texas Stampede  were selected to compete for positions on the USA WR squad   “We are all very excited for these athletes” said Coach James Gumbert. They have special talents that would make any team better”  he wEnt on to say.

The stampede five will be competing head to head for 16 spots At the upcoming USA WR tryouts in January 2019. The team selected will go on to compete in Lima Peru for the para pan am championships and a qualification for the 2020 Tokyo games.

“The guys have been working hard and are honing their skills” said Coach Gumbert. “We look forward to seeing how they do”. “For some of these athletes this is a natural step and for others this is their first time”.
