Texas prepared for big matches on Saturday

The Texas Stampede wheelchair rugby team showcase their prowess at the Tampa Invitational this weekend, delivering an outstanding performance in both games on day one. Head coach Gabriel Garcia expressed his satisfaction, stating, “Good day of Rugby for us. The team played well together in both games. We're looking forward to tomorrow's action.” The scores reflected their dominance, with Texas defeating the WWAR Warriors 56-36 and securing a victory against the South Florida Rattlers with a scoreline of 42-32.

 

As the tournament enters the second day of competition, on Saturday, the Texas Stampede will face formidable opponents in GB and their in-state rival TIRR. The anticipation will be high as fans eagerly await the outcome of these challenging matchups. The team's consistent performance in the tournament's opening day has already established them as contenders, and their resilience will be put to the test against tough competition on day two.
