~~Stampede athlete CJ Brown got his first taste of international ball playing for Team USA last week against GB. Brown who saw action in 3 of the 6 game series commented, “My first time to be able to take the court with Team USA was in a deuce line.” “The line jumped on Great Britain”. “There were a few of my teammates that were super proud of me (maybe even a little shocked)” “We came out with no fear and with the intensity that only the USA brings to the court”. “It was a great experience and I can’t wait until the next time I can roll on the court with USA again”.

The competition also served as a selection for the 2014 World Championship team. And while CJ did not make the 12 who will be going to Denmark in August he certainly served notice that he is close to claiming a future spot.
