The Stampede started the Turnstone Invitational with a 3-0 record. Coach Gabriel Garcia said "The team did well today, all the new players got a lot of experience learning against other lines. We look forward in closing out the weekend with two more wins".
Texas faced off against teams from the mid west. Grand Rapids, Chicago, and Kansas City all looked to knock off the defending champions from Austin. Emerging Stampede athlete Daniel Curtis commented "It was a Great opportunity to get competive reps for our developing players”
